When I was eating breakfast this morning

I was sure hungry that I bit into my tongue

The pain was so awful

And I could taste the blood together with the wholemeal cereal

A tear or two trickle down my face

As my tolerance for pain is almost zero

A moan or two and I thought how bad my morning had started

However in a matter of five minutes the pain is no more

Only a tiny blister remains

Soon in couple of days too, the blister will be no more

No scar, no remnants to remind me of what happen this morning

How wonderful the body that God has given to us

How wonderful the healing mechanism He has created!
